The Community Festival

Twelve thousand people. One long day. You're on the crew.

The gates open in ninety minutes and the field already smells like fried dough and cut grass. Somewhere behind the main stage a generator coughs to life, and a wall of speakers hums awake for the first time all summer.

You're wearing an all-access badge on a lanyard that keeps flipping backwards. The crew lead points at you across the field, taps her watch, and shouts one thing before the wind takes it: "Go where you're useful."

Nobody assigned you a station. That's on purpose. Wander the grounds, step into whatever pulls you, and see what kind of person this day makes you.
