Oveus Career Accelerator
Privacy & Accessibility Attestation
Prepared for school districts, schools and workforce boards evaluating Oveus Career Accelerator. Current as of 10/25/2026.
Student privacy
- No student name, email address, phone number, home address or birthday is ever requested or stored.
- Each student works in an anonymous session held on their own device. Nothing links a session to a person.
- Only the school or program name, an optional grade level, and what a student completed are recorded.
- No student accounts, no passwords, no logins, and no third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- Reporting to a district, school or licensed partner is aggregate only, with small groups suppressed.
- A student can clear their session from their device at any time from the My Career Journey page.
- Licensed partners see aggregate counts for their own site only — never another partner's data and never a student's work.
Accessibility
- Designed and tested against WCAG 2.1 level AA.
- Full keyboard operation, visible focus, a skip-to-content link, and a single main landmark on every page.
- Text and interface colors meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio; controls are labelled for screen readers.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels so the platform works on school phones and tablets.
- Site-wide translation into eleven languages, including right-to-left Arabic.
- No content depends on color, sound, or motion alone; results are announced when they appear.
Reporting to boards and districts
Partners receive a print-ready career readiness outcomes report with participation, completion and interest indicators labelled against the pillars of the Maryland Blueprint. Every figure is an aggregate; groups below the reporting threshold are suppressed; practice and demonstration activity is excluded.
Salary and cost figures shown to students are published estimates used for career exploration and financial awareness only — not financial advice. This page describes platform practices and is not legal advice.
